• BlackHat Consultants will receive the assessment assignment from CompTIA and an introduction to your company’s point of contact.
• Your assigned assessor will make contact within 1 business day of receiving the assignment.
• BlackHat Consultants will invoice your company directly for the assessment service, since it is independent from CompTIA. We support credit card, electronic transfer and traditional invoicing payment methods.
• Once payment is processed, your assigned assessor will perform a gap analysis, based on the answers provided to the 121 control questions and documentation your company submitted during the initial Associate certification-level process.
• Based on the gap analysis, your assigned assessor will contact you for clarification and/or to provide any additional documentation requirements necessary to address the areas of weakness or remediation.
• Once the documentation is provided to the assessor that addresses the gap analysis findings, the assessor closes the audit and then CompTIA provides your company with the Verified-level certification for the Security Trustmark.
